The World Health Organisation (WHO) regularly commissions comprehensive reports on global health issues, including substance use.
CYSAR Director Professor Wayne Hall was asked to edit a new report, The health and social effects of nonmedical cannabis use for the organisation.
The report covers the estimated prevalence of cannabis use, disorders, and treatment, the short and longer-term effects of cannabis use, as well as the mental health and psychosocial outcomes of long-term cannabis use.
This report will be a vital reference for world health policy makers and researchers, as well as a source of evidence-based information for the general population.
